Ground Safety Action Program
The Ground Safety Action Program (GSAP) is a voluntary, non-punitive safety program that is aimed at addressing safety concerns and communicating hazards and corrective actions. GSAP is based on a partnership that includes United, the FAA and the IAM.
This program provides benefits to all. In addition to providing a process for corrective action rather than punishment, the program also collects, analyzes and retains safety data to improve airline and employee safety. Creates criteria for corrective action plans. Helps advance and create awareness to prevent future recurrences.
